Last Saturday night, JRP Speedway entered the junior
racing league lighted float in the downtown Tulsa
Christmas parade for the first time.
Alf worked diligently for weeks building a sleigh
to be pulled by 6 can-am’s and one thunderbolt lighted
up to look like Rudolph.
The float was a big success! And it was gorgeous!
We had a driver in each car, including Jeff “hotrod”
Few, Hailey Bullington, Caleb Huff, Braden Huff, Blake
Cole, and Robert Guthrie in his Championship Thunderbolt
as the lead car.
In the sleigh, was FWD Novice drivers, Cameron
Butler and Champion Derian Hughes, Alf Gebhardt, Debbie
Estes, Debbie Overstreet, Hannah Bullington and friends.
The float was pulled by Steve Huff, and the
trailer was donated by Miller Trucking Co.
Kent Guthrie and Doug Bullington walked along side the
float to help navigate.
We would like to thank all those who showed up Saturday
morning to help decorate the float, The Bullington
Family – Doug, Kellie, Hailey and Hannah, The Huff
Family – Steve, Rachael, Caleb, Braden, Blake, Ashley
and Jessica,
Debbie Overstreet and Jeffrey, and Cameron
Butler.
We all had a great time and plan to do it
again next year!
