put on a fun race at the end of the
program.
The race cars will be donated by
the Tow Man – Slim Burklin.

Sams Snatches Super Truck Victory
Brad Sams snatched the
lead away from Ryan Hicks on lap 45 to win
the first Super Truck feature race here at
JRP Speedway Saturday night. Eight USST
Super Trucks arrived here Saturday for their
first race of the season.
Ryan Hicks sat on the pole and held
the lead for the first three laps, until he
was passed by the #7 Eric Caudell, Caudell
held the lead for next 12 laps, with Hicks
taking back the top spot, until on lap 45
#55 Brad Sams took the lead and never
looked back. Caudell fell back to the 5th
spot. Third spot was captured by Tony
Springwater in the #34 truck. #22 Steve
Cooper improved his starting position by one
spot finishing fourth. Joe Formans # 23 took
sixth. And youngster Brady Demeree fighting
an ill handling #88 took home the seventh
spot. #11 Garrett Murrell was unable to make
the feature.

2008 PAYOUT SCHEDULE ANNOUNCED
ALL CLASSES
WILL RUN FOR JACKPOT.
This does not mean that it is winner take
all.
All classes and people they bring
with them will sign in on their own board.
All the pit pass money collected less 20%
will be distributed to the drivers based on
how much they bring in.
Example:
20 pit passes = $500.00
Less
20%
= 100.00
Money to be distributed
= $400.00
All drivers are encouraged to find sponsors
for their class. Even if it is a different
sponsor each week. I.e... ABC Tire service
extra $100 to winner of mini stocks this
week.
Etc...
We at JRP are also contacting major
companies to help sponsor our purses.
Pit Passes beginning for the 2008 season
will be……….$25.00.
